Games Workshop Adepta Sororitas: Seraphim Squad

Background

Dropping from the sky on angelic fiery wings, the Seraphim of the Adepta Sororitas take the vanguard of the Sisters of Battle forces, a hail of bolt pistol shells their clarion call. Trained extensively in the use of jump packs and firing two bolt pistols at once, only the most skilled of Sisters can join the ranks of the Seraphim due to the near superhuman levels of agility and finesse required to aim and fire two pistols while maintaining the delicate controls of a jump pack. Some Seraphim may be blessed to carry a pair of Hand Flamers or Inferno Pistols, giving the squad the tactical flexibility to deal with massed hordes and armoured vehicles alike.

Sometimes a Sister may suffer a kind of religious delirium where they reach a constant state of blessed connection with the Emperor Himself. Such warriors become overwhelmed, existing in a state of rapture and speaking in unknown tongues. The Adepta Sororitas believe these Sisters to be supremely blessed, touched by the divine will of the Emperor and following His will directly. In battle these Zephyrim wield their power swords as if guided by the Emperor, cutting down foes and leaping across the battlefield with their jump packs like avenging angels.

Kit

This plastic kit builds five Seraphim or Zephyrim. The Seraphim each carry a pair of bolt pistols, and have options for two of their number to be equipped with hand flamers, while a further two carry inferno pistols. A Seraphim Superior can be built with a choice of bolt or plasma pistol in one hand, and either a bolt pistol, brutal chainsword or deadly power sword in her other hand. 

The Zephyrim are armed with bolt pistols and power swords, although two can be built to wield hand flamers and two can be built to carry inferno pistols. The Zephyrim Superior can replace her bolt pistol for a powerful plasma pistol or a Zephyrim pennant that will inspire nearby Sisters to fight harder!

This set is supplied in 107 plastic components and contains 5x Citadel 32mm Round Bases and 2x Citadel 45mm Groove Stem Sets. An Adepta Sororitas Transfer Sheet is also included.
